Autmnal Attunement @ Bossed Beauty and Wellness 10/12 3 - 4:30 p.m.

In this 90-minute Yoga workshop, Ayurvedic Practitioner and Yoga Teacher Brian Witten will lead students through a dynamic and mindful sequence of meditation, breath and movement practices with a specific intention of shifting awareness and energy to move into the rhythm of the Fall Season.

Experience the energetics of the fall season through embodiment and take these tools with you to cultivate balance and health during this active season of change. This will be an all level practice based around the Hatha System of yoga.




Restorative Yoga Under the Pines @ Cottle Village 10/19 9-10 a.m.

Join Brian at Cottle Village for a Sunday Morning Restorative Flow Yoga Practice. We will come together under the mighty pine trees that have grown for decades on the Farmstead. Supported by this grounding space, students will breathe, move and consciously release tension, stress and old patterns of belief.

Yoga taps us into a deeper knowing of our bodies, our minds and our beliefs about ourselves. This is a time of year for gratitude toward the things we are ready to let go of, and a season of taking conscious action that releases old patterns to make way for something new to grow in the next cycle.




Fall Yoga Workshop Series @ Climb So Ill



Shoulder & Neck, Supported Inversions - 10/25 & 10/26

In this 90 Minute Extended Practice students will be guided through a sequence of myofascial release and movement techniques to unlock and balance the upper body, followed by traditional yoga postures that optimize the alignment of posture and energy supporting a healthy neck and shoulders. This workshop will also introduce a number of supported inversions that can assist in supporting healthy circulatory, immune and nervous systems of the body.


Arm Balances, Headstands & Handstands - Transitioning into Advanced Postures - 11/9 & 11/9

Develop practice and skill in the fundamental arm balance postures of the yoga system. In this 90 Minute Extended Practice Brian will guide students through a proper warm up to ensure safe and effective practice, followed by a sequence developed to help build progressions of crow, Koundinyasana (Side Crow), and Firefly. The arm balances become a stepping stone towards the next level of posture: Headstand and Handstand. The workshop will also help students develop tools in transitioning into these more advanced inversions with more confidence and ease!


Restorative & Self Care Practices for the Fall Season - 11/22 & 11/23

In this 90 Minute Yoga Workshop, Brian will lead students through a practice of Restorative Yoga movements, breathwork and postures that support physical and mental wellbeing through the Fall season. Learn about how you are connected to the cycles of nature that are expressed in different times of the year, and how you can incorporate simple, natural self care practices to reduce stress and seasonal symptoms during the fall months.
